331045 TESTER HEAT DETECTOR FTH011, FOR EXPLOSION PROOF AREA

Used for carrying out the operation test of the heat detector by utilizing chemical reaction of quicklime and water to generate the high temperature vapor. The tester can also be used at explosion-proof area, because it does not use fire during the operation test. After the vapor generation is finished, wait about 10 minutes before removing the heat generating material from the container because the heat generating material is hot. In case of using the tester in the explosion-proof area, the applicable gases are limited to Grade IIB, T4 or less according to Gas Classification (Ministry of Labour , Research institute of Industrial Safety Japan) and those having the ignition temperature of 425℃ or over. The tester is the approved product of Fire Protection Equipment & Safety Center of Japan, and it is required to be calibrated every 10 years. (The calibration label should be checked.) Support rods are sold separately.
