The Chlorinated Isocyanurate has excellent characteristics and advantages compared with conventional inorganic chlorine compounds. It is a tablet formulated from chlorinated isocyanuric acid with good chemical stability for algae control, effluent treatment, and disinfection of septic tanks. Available Chlorine is 65%, and packed in special made strong carton drums. Important!! Direction for Storage and Handling : Chlorinated Isocyanurate (C.I.) tablets are strong oxidizing agents, which release chlorine on contact with water. Care should be exercised, therefore, in their storage; all C.I. tablets should be stored under cool dry conditions. They should be stored away from water, moisture, ammonium compounds, amines, oil, grease, any easily oxidizable matter, strong acids, alkalis, and sources of heat. No sweepings or waste should be put into bins, as accidental contamination with easily oxidizable matter could cause ignition and fire.
